All of our products each have only 2-6 pure & natural ingredients that you can understand! Each of our ingredients are harvested from nature, not created in a factory, and each serves a purpose to benefit your skin & lips. 

WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT FRAGRANCE?

The word "fragrance" or "parfum" on a product label represents an undisclosed mixture of various scent chemicals and ingredients used as fragrance. Fragrance mixes have been associated with allergies, dermatitis, respiratory distress and potential effects on the reproductive system.

We use only essential oils to fragrance our products, pairing refreshing, natural scents with the benefits of aromatherapy.

HOW DO YOU FRAGRANCE YOUR PRODUCTS?

All of our products are fragranced with pure essential oils. We never use synthetic fragrances or dyes. 

Essential oils are highly concentrated plant components. It can take a huge amount of a plant to get out even a small portion of essential oil — 4,000 pounds of Bulgarian roses are needed to get just one pound of oil, for example.  

The benefits of essential oils are more than just an amazing scent. They can help you relax, promote focus, and uplift mood through aromatherapy.

What are tHE BENEFITS OF AROMATHERAPY?

The benefits of essentials oils have been detailed in many studies & articles and include:

• Lavender Oil has been shown to aid in relaxation and reduce stress
• Peppermint Essential Oil has been shown to stimulate the mind and increase mental alertness
• Tea Tree Oil, made from the leaves of the Melaluca alternifolia or tea tree, has been used as a topical treatment for acne, nail fungus, cuts, and ear infections
• Eucalyptus Oil can be used to relieve sore muscles and help clear sinuses. It also has many antibacterial properties and has been known to stimulate the immune system.

WHAT TYPES OF INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?

We use organic and natural ingredients in all of our products. And in case the definition of natural has become blurred over the years, by natural we mean sourced from nature!

Many of our products use coconut oil as a base, as the fatty acids in coconut oil help reinforce the skin’s natural lipid barrier, helping to lock moisture in the skin & promote hydration. 

We also use beeswax, which protects skin against irritants while allowing skin to breathe. Beeswax acts as an emollient and a humectant, drawing moisture to the skin and sealing it in. Beeswax also contains vitamin A, which may be beneficial in softening and rehydrating dry skin and in cell reconstruction.

We use only essential oils to fragrance & flavor our products, providing a natural and refreshing scent.

HOW DID YOU FORMULATE YOUR PRODUCTS?

We set out to craft natural, pure skincare products that were free of chemicals & mystery ingredients. Many of our products are family recipes that were created as a result of being unable to find pure products that did not irritate our own skin. 

When creating a product, it is important that each ingredient serves a purpose to benefit your skin & lips. We don't believe in using fillers or chemicals in our products. We also base our work in established research and studies, which we share directly with you:
